Jump Start 2020

Hello Families,

I am writing to provide you with information about Waynesboro's Summer School program called Jump Start 2020. We are excited to be able to offer this opportunity to all elementary students PreK-5. The purpose of this program is to provide students with instruction focused on the content that was missed at the end of the school year.  Students will participate in the program at the grade level they were in during the 2019 - 2020 school year. Teachers have worked hard to design a series of 10 math lessons and 10 reading lessons.  The program will start on Monday, July 6.  The dates for this program are Monday through Thursday July 6-July 9, July 13- July 16 and will also include Monday, July 20 and Tuesday, July 21.

The lessons will be posted to the Waynesboro Public School website. There will be opportunities for families and students to receive information or ask questions about the videos. A teacher can be reached for help on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:00 - 11:00. If you need help with PreK-2 videos you may reach out to Ms. Everidge by email at teveridge@waynesboro.k12.va.us or by phone at 540-946-4681. If you need help with 3-5 videos you may reach out to Ms. Brooks by email at kbrooks@waynbesboro.k12.va.us or by phone at 540-946-4662.

I hope you and your family are well and enjoying your summer! Take care!

Principal's Message

It is my privilege and honor to be the Principal of Wenonah Elementary School .  Wenonah is a place where strong connections are made between the home and the school and where parents and educators partner together to develop the whole child.  I value these characteristics; I am excited to help continue moving Wenonah along the path of excellence.
